Minecraft Java 26.2
Survival with voice that travels through space, structures worth finding, railways worth building, and enough safeguards to let the world get chaotic.
The experience
OSDCraft keeps the familiar survival loop intact, then adds the systems that make a private world feel like a place: natural conversation, hidden landmarks, public transport, shared events, and tools that protect what players create.
Proximity voice
Whisper nearby, talk normally across a room, or project your voice farther. Audio is positional, encrypted, and optional for every player.
Exploration
BetterStructures places new ruins, mines, islands, tombs, farms, wells, graveyards and landmarks into unexplored terrain.
TrainCarts
Create linked carts, stations, signs, routes and automated rail systems that turn distant builds into connected neighborhoods.
BlueMap
A rendered 3D map turns the server into a navigable atlas in your browser.

Official or third-party launcher, the process is the same. Use Java Edition, select the right game version, and protect your username when you arrive.
Required
Use a plain Fabric profile or the Fabulously Optimized 26.2 pack. Fabulously Optimized is recommended for smoother performance and does not change gameplay.
Required
Open Multiplayer, choose Add Server, and enter the hostname below. The standard Minecraft port is discovered automatically.
Required on first join
Because offline launchers are supported, the server uses AuthMe passwords to stop anyone else from claiming your name, inventory or permissions.
Use a unique password. Staff will never ask for it. Same-IP sessions remain active for seven days.
Optional, recommended
Download the Fabric 26.2 client JAR, place it inside your instance's mods folder, restart the game, join, and press V.
mods.Optional
Xaero's Minimap and World Map are optional Fabric client mods. They store your own waypoints and explored terrain locally.
One-command setup
The bootstrapper locates a compatible Minecraft 26.2 instance, backs up older Plasmo Voice files, verifies the official JAR checksum, and installs it without touching your other mods.
Server stack
Most of the stack lives entirely on the server. Players only install Plasmo Voice if they want voice chat; everything else works on a normal Java client.

Under the world
Trusted same-IP players are not asked for a password every time they reconnect.

A consistent server archive is created nightly with seven daily recovery points.
Paper runs on Java 25 with a controlled heap sized for the current community.
Questions
No. The server supports third-party Java launchers. Because Mojang authentication is disabled, every username is protected with an AuthMe password registered on first join.
No. A normal Java client can join and play. Plasmo Voice is required only for proximity voice, while Xaero's maps are entirely optional.
It is the server's native version and provides the most accurate items, entities and mechanics. ViaBackwards may support older versions, but 26.2 is the recommended experience.
Yes. They play normally and simply do not hear or transmit proximity audio. The client mod is never enforced.
Admins can use GriefLog to roll back a selected area and time period. For larger incidents, nightly full-server snapshots provide another recovery layer.
Only in chunks generated after BetterStructures was installed. Existing terrain remains untouched, so travel into unexplored areas to discover them.
